South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) Volunteer Scheme

SWFRS Volunteer Scheme was created to support work within the Community Safety Department and Operationally.  The scheme works to further strengthen ties and reduce the risk in our local communities in order to make South Wales a safer place to live.

This includes but is not limited to; delivery of our youth projects such as our Firefighter for a Day sessions, and the Phoenix Project, assist station personnel with RTC training and the smooth running of station open days, attend major events such as the “999 weekend” in Cardiff Bay with our partners and act as representatives of SWFRS and as active supporters/ advocates of the Firefighter’s Charity.
