'Silence is golden' was never truer if your neighbour forgets that you are sharing a wall/community; not everyone likes music/constant shouting or noise bellowing down the road.

There is a more effective way than banging on the wall/ceiling to 'turn it down!' Noise Enforcement Officers from Cardiff Council are on duty from 7pm onwards from Wednesday to Sunday operating as late as 3am on the weekends.

Officers can respond to incidents such as noisy parties and noisy neighbours; in extreme cases they can seize noise equipment. Make sure you are not the perpetrator!

Try and keep the noise down when walking home at night. Loud and slurred renditions of your favourite tunes should be saved for karaoke.
