Police Cardiff is actually one of the safest places for students to live – one in twenty students will be a victim of crime while studying in the city, compared to the national average of one in three. South Wales Student Initiative, students sometimes think that the police don’t care about crime committed against students, especially burglary and petty theft. The Student Initiative has been designed to create a safer and stronger community in Cardiff as well as allow a stronger link between students and South Wales Police.
